Project Management - Hosting Microsoft Techstack

Project Context

Our client is embarking on a strategic transition to the Microsoft TechStack program and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive the global implementation of a cutting-edge Microsoft hosting platform. This is a high-impact role that involves close collaboration with program leadership and cross-functional teams including IT Infrastructure, Development & Data, and Security.

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless migration, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Strong experience in Cloud, Hosting, and Infrastructure will be highly valued, as these areas are central to the success of this transformation.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Own the project roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan covering timelines, budgets, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Lead end-to-end delivery: Oversee execution from detailed solution design through implementation and post-go-live support, ensuring operational readiness.
• Drive stakeholder engagement: Align IT and Business stakeholders, manage escalations effectively, and maintain governance compliance.
• Ensure transparency and accountability: Facilitate regular progress meetings, provide clear updates, monitor performance, and maintain accurate documentation in line with Solvay Program Management standards.
• Champion collaboration and innovation: Foster a culture of proactive communication and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Education: Higher degree in IT or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in IT Project Management, preferably in global or complex environments.
• Language: Professional level of English (written and spoken).
• Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal.
