What we’re looking for:
- Tech stack: .Net, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience working with CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework), ideally in plugin contexts
- Understanding of plugin development for IDEs (Rider, Visual Studio, VS Code) Experience or familiarity with native layers and ReSharper APIs
- Ability to independently deliver features, maintain momentum, and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude, excellent debugging skills, and a detail-oriented approach
Nice to have:
- Experience building UI components in cross-platform plugin environments
- Familiarity with JetBrains plugin development or the JetBrains SDK
- Understanding of source control systems and potential plugin workflows for Version Control tools
- Background in tooling or developer experience (DevEx) roles
What the role is about:
- Align and synchronize features across Rider and Visual Studio plugins
- Take full ownership of frontend UI implementation, improvements, and maintenance
- Contribute to UI/UX upgrades with a focus on clarity, usability, and performance
- Work closely with backend/native teams to ensure smooth integration across layers
- Support future plugin development, including a potential plugin for Version Control systems
- Maintain consistency in visual behavior, responsiveness, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CEF, native layer, and JS integrations
