Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company seeking a Commercial Counsel to support commercial transactions across Sales, Channel/Alliances, and Customer Success teams. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and enabling deal velocity.
Requirements
- J.D. (or equivalent) from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house, with a strong focus on commercial technology transactions.
- Direct experience with negotiating SaaS or cloud-based software agreements (customer and, ideally, partner/channel deals).
- Data protection/security issues in commercial contracts (e.g., DPAs, security exhibits, incident response, audit rights).
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to give succinct, actionable advice to non-lawyers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
