The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Hitachi Energy Service is looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager. An organic leader, this B2B marketing professional will lead global product marketing activities for the entire Service portfolio. As the lead storyteller for the portfolio, which requires strong content creation skills, and the vision needed to deliver complex strategic concepts, simply. The output of your vision is compelling marketing materials that support the full funnel of marketing, sales, and communications.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Service leadership to align on the lifecycle portfolio positioning; own the documentation and maintenance of positioning as the portfolio and market evolve; ensure positioning is maintained for marketing and communications purposes.

  • Develop customer-centric value propositions and proof points at the service activity level.

  • For assigned offerings, track and manage offering launch activities for new services and releases and lead the development of supporting collateral.

  • Own the development of and quality delivery for the creation of high-impact customer-facing materials that communicate thought leadership, value, and unique benefits to targeted buyer personas. These include brochures, videos, white papers, case studies, external presentations, etc.

  • Maintain a readily accessible, complete, and up-to-date library of collateral for the portfolio.

  • Own and deliver a web presence for the portfolio that elevates the portfolio and enables us to compete effectively in our category; ensure that web presence accurately reflects portfolio/product level positioning, leveraging value propositions, buyer personas, etc.

  • Support requests for sales enablement materials and leverage efficient resourcing to deliver these materials according to business priority.

  • Ensure a data-led operation for all of the above by being curious – asking for data to build a common understanding of the impact of product marketing deliverables: track, analyze, and implement recommendations to maximize effectiveness.

Your Background:

  • Master's degree in business, economics, journalism, or engineering; Master of Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.

  • 8+ years' experience in B2B industry; ideally with a Service-based organization

  • Strong knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to draft storyline line & serve as change-agent internally to activate story.

  • Native-like command in English: this is a global role demanding senior stakeholder engagement (S/VP-level).

  • Proficiency in English language.
