To strengthen our Industrial Components & Equipment Group Coding & Marking in Düsseldorf we are looking for a

Key Account Manager (m/f/d) – Hitachi Coding, Marking & Verification Solutions

DACH Region

Your responsibilities:

  • The role is to establish and manage a portfolio of accounts in DACH region and develop and grow sales of Hitachi product, coding and verification solutions at those Accounts

  • The KAM will be responsible for attracting customers for Hitachi/Telesis C&M solutions, to build a pipeline of projects and to win those projects. The priority will be to sell Telesis solutions at a first step

  • In Detail the responsibilities are

  • Research into customer segments and best suited customers for our solutions

  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships

  • Prospect, engage with and present consistent Hitachi/Telesis commercial and technical value propositions to stakeholders in those Accounts

  • Identify opportunities for Hitachi Coding & Marking solutions and build up a project pipeline

  • Negotiate commercial framework agreements

  • Establish formal and lasting relationships with stakeholders

  • Build a network in specific vertical markets

  • Manage the pricing and discounts and other sales proposal activities

  • Deliver enhanced revenue and profit generation on personal budget level

  • Collaborate with the worldwide Hitachi C&M team and provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, competitors’ position and depth of customer base and to translate them into product specifications

  • Development and creation of business plans

  • Establishment of a sales and forecasting process for projected printer sales

Your Skills:

  • Experience in sales of technical products in the B2B machine builder or IT market, manufacturing solutions & packaging applications

  • More than 5 years' experience to sell regional and/or global Key Accounts

  • Experienced at working consultatively and in solution-based selling

  • Strong team player to work in a sales team (presales, OEM, technical resources, Distribution partners, sale administration)

  • Ability to present a technical sales proposition. Concepts Solution based selling

  • Manage and record stages of the sales

  • Excel and using CRM reporting tools such as Salesforce

  • Fluency in German and English language
