We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor (Short-form) who can take long-form financial content and turn it into high performing short-form videos across all major social platforms. This role sits inside a fast-moving media team that produces daily market, macroeconomic, and geopolitical content. You’ll repurpose long recordings into compelling clips, manage posting and distribution, and help maintain a consistent visual identity across channels.

What You Will Work On
Short Form Editing and Content Repurposing
- Cut long-form interviews, commentary, and financial discussions into short clips for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok
- Identify high-impact moments, strong soundbites, and segments worth highlighting
- Use AI tools like Opus or similar platforms to speed up clip ideation when needed
- Edit vertical and horizontal formats optimized for each platform
Publishing and Distribution
- Post content across YouTube, Rumble, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook
- Write or refine captions and headlines that match the brand’s voice and current news cycle
- Upload thumbnails, manage video tags, and support basic SEO practices for social distribution
Design and Thumbnails
- Create clean thumbnails and simple social graphics using Canva or Adobe tools
- Apply consistent branding across all platforms
- Assist with basic motion graphics or animated elements when needed
Content Operations
- Organize assets, file structures, and content libraries
- Track performance across channels and highlight successful formats
- Work closely with the hosts and leadership team to identify timely content angles
- Bring ideas to the table about formats, trends, and new approaches
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in short form video editing or social content production
- Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools
- Experience posting across social platforms and optimizing content for each format
- Ability to cut quickly, maintain quality, and publish on a consistent schedule
- Strong writing skills for titles, captions, and social copy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volume output
- Comfort working with financial, macroeconomic, or news-driven topics (or willingness to learn fast)
- Familiarity with tools like Opus AI, Descript, or AI-assisted editing workflows
Nice To Have
- Background in financial media, newsrooms, or macro commentary
- Experience with Streamyard, vMix, or similar recording platforms
- Journalism or newsroom experience
- Familiarity with gold, commodities, or economic cycles
