We’re looking for an Internal Motion Graphics Video Editor who can take long-form content and transform it into polished, high-performing YouTube videos supported by strong motion design, dynamic pacing, and clean storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who lives on YouTube, understands what makes content engaging, and can bring ideas to life through editing, titles, animations, and visual flair.
You’ll work closely with leadership to create content that reflects our brand, elevates our online presence, and drives consistent engagement across YouTube and other channels.

What You’ll Work On
YouTube Editing and Post-Production
- Edit long-form videos into clean, engaging, well-paced YouTube uploads
- Develop visual storytelling using cuts, pacing, captions, transitions, and sound design
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, callouts, and branded visual elements
- Optimize videos for retention, watch time, and overall viewer engagement
- Apply feedback quickly and iterate as needed to meet publishing timelines
Motion Graphics and Design
- Create motion assets that enhance clarity and storytelling
- Build reusable visual templates and branded graphic packages
- Design thumbnail concepts and collaborate on high-performing YouTube thumbnails
- Add animations that boost production value without overwhelming the content
Content Repurposing and Social Clips
- Cut short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Add punchy captions, hooks, and dynamic edits tailored for fast-moving platforms
- Maintain consistent visual identity across long and short content formats
Creative Collaboration and Workflow
- Work closely with leadership to plan content themes and editing direction
- Maintain organized project files, versioning, and asset libraries
- Help build efficient editing workflows and internal systems
- Suggest new formats, trends, and ideas to improve content strategy
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of professional video editing experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or similar tools)
- Comfortable creating custom motion graphics and animated assets
- Proven experience editing YouTube-style content with strong pacing and narrative flow
- Ability to repurpose long-form content into high-performing short clips
- Strong aesthetic instincts and attention to detail
- Ability to take feedback well and work iteratively
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience creating YouTube thumbnails
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics, retention metrics, and content best practices
- Experience working with brands, agencies, or content creators
- Basic sound mixing and audio cleanup skills
- Understanding of social media trends and platform-specific editing styles
