Your Mission
If you’re a creative editor who thrives on fast-paced collaboration, sharp storytelling, and an eye for detail, this is your chance to shape how the world sees Propeller.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Edit with purpose: Craft short- and long-form video content that tells the Propeller story clearly and creatively — from concept to final delivery.
- Elevate storytelling: Turn raw footage into compelling narratives through editing, pacing, transitions, color, sound, and motion graphics.
- Create at speed: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering polished, on-brand content under tight deadlines.
- Help craft then ensure brand consistency: Help us refine our brand guidelines for all things videos then apply Propeller’s brand guidelines and visual identity across every piece of content
- Support the content engine: Help scale our video operations by organizing assets, creating templates, and refining processes for efficiency.
Your Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience editing in-house or agency-side, ideally in B2B or tech.
- Strong preference for short form vertical social video production
- Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, pacing, and post-production craft.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and/or Final Cut Pro, Capcut (or equivalent social video editing software, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Strong sense of motion, sound, and timing — with a keen eye for detail and composition; Experience as a motion designer a plus.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you take feedback well and contribute ideas freely.
- Ability to balance creative ambition with operational efficiency and brand alignment.
- Technical Product Knowledge: A basic understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) principles or experience creating content specifically for a technical B2B audience.
- Live Event/Webinar Experience: Prior experience in basic setup, recording, and post-production of live streams, webinars, or virtual events.
- Accessibility Focus: Knowledge of best practices for video accessibility (e.g., ADA compliance for closed captions, visual contrast).
