Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Product Ownerand Technical Product Manager to join our growing Digital Platforms team (Global eCommerce Platforms) and play a critical role in shaping the future of our enterprise digital services and omnichannel marketing capabilities. This person will be a key driver in our digital transformation journey, helping us to elevate customer engagement and deliver seamless, connected experiences across digital touchpoints.

As Product Owner, you will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle across a suite of marketing and engagement platforms — including performance marketing, ad serving, and personalization technologies. You will work at the intersection of marketing, technology, and customer experience, developing scalable, high-impact digital solutions that meet business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Ownership: Manage and evolve a portfolio of customer engagement platforms (acquisition, performance marketing, ad tech, personalization engines), ensuring they align with omnichannel marketing objectives.

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a bold, forward-looking product roadmap that establishes a clear, differentiated vision for the Henry Schein Ecommerce Platform Performance Marketing capability, driving sustainable competitive advantage and market leadership.

  • Customer-Centric Innovation: Act as the voice of the customer, using research and data insights to guide prioritization and solutioning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across Product Management, Marketing, Analytics, IT, UX, Creative and Engineering to deliver cohesive platform experiences.

  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating strategic objectives into actionable user stories and technical requirements.

  • Performance & Optimization: Define KPIs, monitor product performance, and implement continuous improvements for usability, personalization, and engagement.

  • Change Agent: Champion adoption of digital tools and capabilities across teams, and support change management efforts with clear communication and strategic enablement.

  • Emerging Tech & AI Integration: Explore and evaluate emerging technologies (AI-driven personalization, content automation, dynamic creative optimization etc.) to maintain innovation momentum and competitive advantage.

  • Team Management: Demonstrate outstanding management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop, mentor and coach team members for high performance. Establish key operational objectives and delegate assignments to staff.

  • Vendor Management: May develop proposed budgets for approval and manage budget once approved.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in digital marketing, eCommerce, or digital transformation environments.

  • Proven experience with platform and capability ownership across performance marketing, ad serving, and personalization technologies.

  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies, MarTech ecosystems, and customer engagement best practices.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into business value.

  • Lead and develop virtual teams.

  • Expert independent decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Operate with substantial latitude for independent action or decision.

  • Plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget and assign areas of responsibility

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Preferred:

  • Experience working in highly matrixed, enterprise organizations.

  • Exposure to or interest in AI-driven marketing technologies, personalization engines, or customer engagement platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement and platform optimization.

  • Passion for creating scalable, resilient, and customer-centric digital experiences.
