Senior Software Engineer, Portal

Hayden AI is on a mission to harness the power of computer vision to transform the way transit systems address real-world challenges. The Senior Software Engineer, Portal will work on the full-stack web application that connects all Hayden products.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and modern frontend components for Portal.
• Collaborate on system architecture and technical decisions across the stack.
• Write clean, well-tested, and documented code that supports long-term product growth.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and Operations to deliver features that meet customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers on the team.
• Contribute to a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Help evolve our developer processing: from observability, to testing, to CI/CD pipelines.
• Take ownership of production stability and performance, including troubleshooting and debugging complex issues.
