Harris Computer is looking for a driven and curious Junior AI Specialist to join our growing technology teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within a global software organisation.

You’ll work on real-world challenges across our portfolio of businesses, supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions that enhance products, automate processes, and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers across multiple industries.

This role offers a strong blend of hands-on technical development, learning, and business exposure, with mentorship from experienced engineers and data specialists.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Machine Learning Development

  • Support the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and AI models

  • Assist in building intelligent features into enterprise software products

  • Work with technologies such as Python, ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch), and APIs

Data Analysis & Processing

  • Prepare, clean, and analyse datasets to support model training and evaluation

  • Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources

  • Contribute to data pipelines and feature engineering

Research & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices

  • Contribute to internal innovation initiatives and AI-driven improvements

  • Explore opportunities to apply generative AI, automation, and predictive analytics

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work alongside software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders

  • Contribute to agile development processes and project delivery

  • Document solutions and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

  • Strong foundational knowledge of:

    • Machine Learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation)

    • Programming (preferably Python)

  • Basic understanding of software development principles

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
