What You Will Do

• During your first 90 days, you will meet your fellow Software Engineers, learn our codebases and enterprise products and start hands on coding. Your experience from here is yours to own. From leading important new projects to working hand in hand with our principal engineers and designers.

• Long term, you will:

  • Work as a project lead together with stakeholders, designers and product leaders

  • Build, ship and maintain highly-available, performant and durable features focused on (but not limited to) enterprise customers of our platform

  • Work with your team to deliver key results for impactful objectives

  • Be a part of cross-squad initiatives

  • Mentor and be mentored by other engineers

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as a full-stack engineer

• Experience in a business support role for enterprise customers

• Experience with working in a Product or SaaS company

• Experience with mentoring and up-leveling engineers

• Documented experience leading technical projects through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle

• Must be based remotely in Canada, Eastern Timezone. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: Ruby on Rails, ReactJS and TypeScript, generative AI, ElasticSearch / OpenSearch, GraphQL

Compensation Range:

Canada: $128k-$137k CAD
