As the Corporate Recruiter, Federal, you will deliver and lead full life cycle recruiting and build client relationships with a high-touch, personalized candidate experience across sector specialties; Federal Civilian Agencies and assist with Commercial as needed. We are looking for a high-energy, strategic, innovative professional who is progressive and can lead from the front by being authentic, agile, connected and technologically bold in all areas of recruiting, to include sourcing. You will work in a high-paced ops-tempo with laser focus on filling requisitions and being a true talent partner while supporting extremely difficult positions within federal agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Experienced talent acquisition focuses on aligning candidates who bring previous knowledge and expertise to our expanding Public Sector portfolios
- Act as a Subject matter expert in our segment
- Work with Recruiting Leads to work with internal stakeholders in designing a tailored recruiting approach to exceed client and candidate expectations
- Leverage talent acquisition experience to partner with key internal stakeholders regarding the direction of recruitment activities, programs, or functions always using a DEI lens
- Serve as a “Guidehouse Brand Ambassador” to expand our external talent acquisition footprint to build the Guidehouse brand
- Contributes to or manages large projects or processes, with limited guidance or oversight
- Identifies and incorporates moderate improvements to guidelines and processes to enhance performance
- Facilitates discussions with external clients or stakeholders to ensure alignment on concepts and approaches
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 4+ years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting for Federal clients with documented success OR 8+ years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting for Federal clients with documented success in lieu of degree.
- Sourcing experience using direct cold calling, current technologies such as LinkedIN and others etc.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and able to source and identify high-caliber talent in an extremely competitive job market
- Strong organizational skills focusing on REAL TIME recruiting data
- OFCCP knowledge
- Ability to work in close team environment
- Consultative approach toward clients with proven ability to influence others and build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- STRONG communication skills
- Experience with Workday ATS Recruiting systems
- This will be a Hybrid role requiring periodic days in office to assist with Interview Events and team meetings. This role is NOT 100% remote. Eligible candidates must reside within 50 miles of a GH office location listed in posting.
- Reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Preferred recruiting experience focused within clients supporting the public sector/federal/government and corporate environments
- Familiarity with the National Capital Region recruiting environment, client locations, candidate experiences within the region, etc
- Experience in Government contracting and clear understanding of Public Sector nuances
- Understanding of and experience with federal government consulting talent acquisition, professional services, or staffing agency environment
- Ability and desire to network with and source candidates utilizing a multitude of technology platforms
- Ability to quickly acquire a strong understanding of relevant firm businesses, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems and educate colleagues and clients on industry best practices
- Demonstrate a willingness to step outside of comfort zone and develop new methodologies and approaches in the spirit of experimentation and innovation and create talent pipelines across the enterprise
