Summary

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer with strong expertise in Python and a focus on data-driven applications. In this role, you will design and build scalable, high-performance back-end solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape the architecture and data flow of our platform.

You’ll play a key role in turning business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with Designers, Product Managers, and fellow Engineers to deliver high-impact features. Your experience will help guide best practices, mentor peers, and ensure clean, maintainable code that supports long-term scalability and data integrity.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing software with Python.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in data pipelines, APIs, and high-volume back-end services.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Open to learning new technologies and adapting to new challenges.
• Proven experience mentoring junior developers and supporting technical growth.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Solid decision-making skills in technical and collaborative contexts.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python and frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Experience working with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) and DAG-based workflows.
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with API design and integration (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience writing unit tests and using testing frameworks.
• Proficient in Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Terraform, CloudBuild, Helm, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure as code.
