Summary

This position is for a full-stack engineer with substantial experience in API development and some familiarity with cloud services such as GCP, Azure, or AWS (Google preferred). Experience with JavaScript and React is also essential. It is important for this candidate to have the willingness to learn new technologies, like GO, which is a required language for this team. Although this experience isn’t mandatory, we expect candidates to learn along the way as part of their responsibilities in this role.

Must Have:

• 4 years of experience in computer-related fields.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• Strong experience in API design and implementation in an object-oriented-like language such as Python.
• 1+ years of experience in React.
• Good experience with Django.
• Good experience with SQL (PostgreSQL experience is preferable but not required).
• Solid experience with writing tests and debugging.
• Good knowledge of design patterns.
• Familiarity with Cloud services like GCP, Azure, or AWS (GCP is ideal), including deploying applications on the cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodology and tools, such as CloudBuild, Helm, Terraform, Docker, etc.
• Solid experience with abstractions and code isolation.
• The advanced notion of security practices.
• Some experience with JavaScript and React.

• Good English and Communication skills, including concise, effective, and audience-oriented communication.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Able to share his/her knowledge within his/her team.
• Experience working with teammates to diagnose and resolve issues.
• The notion of security practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with GO.
• Experience with event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with domain-driven design.
• Experience or interest in security-related domains, such as authentication and risk.
