About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Program Manager for our Internal Foundations group. In this influential role, you will partner with stakeholders across the technology organization to help drive efficiency and predictability in software engineering. You’ll work with our Internal Tools, Security, IT, and Platform teams to help gather requirements, define roadmaps, coordinate priorities across departments, and facilitate alignment between relevant stakeholders. As a senior technical program manager, you will champion critical technical and cross-functional programs, ensuring their seamless execution and successful delivery. If you thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment, possess strong leadership skills, and have a track record of driving impactful programs, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of defining, strategizing, planning, and executing large-scale technical programs that solve complex problems within our technical organization.
  • Ensure the highest level of quality in project execution, consistently meeting or exceeding our high standards and delivering accurate results according to specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive and achieve objectives and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, data, and design leaders to align technical roadmaps, identify overlaps and synergies among multiple projects, and ensure program objectives align with the organization's goals.
  • Work across departments to gather business requirements and priorities and then partner with engineering stakeholders to plan solution implementation.

Salary range: $127k - $165k

You’ll Be a Good Fit if you Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management with a bachelor's degree in computer science (startup and healthcare experience is a plus but not required)
  • Proven experience in successfully defining, planning, and executing large-scale technical programs, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of technical program management methodologies and best practices.

You’ll Be an Ideal Candidate if you Have:

  • A basic understanding of when and how to leverage 3rd party API integrations
  • A basic understanding of SQL
  • Familiarity with Jira automation (and general Jira skills)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
  • Experience operating with teams who have adopted a Service Oriented Architecture

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.

We believe therapy is an essential part of becoming the best versions of ourselves. No matter who you are or where you are starting, it’s more than support through challenge – it’s the foundation to grow, heal and lead lives that are more resilient, empathic, hopeful and powerful.

Everyone should have access to personalized therapy. Therapists should be able to serve the communities they care about, not just the 10% who can afford to pay out of pocket

We walk the walk.

Therapists can focus on the talking.

Grow Therapy empowers independent therapists to launch and grow thriving in-network private practices by enabling them to tap into large scale credentialing, referrals, administrative and community support enabled by our passionate team/products. When therapists no longer have the hassle of mundane admin tasks like billing and insurance claims or the limitations of out-of-pocket-only payment options, they can provide care to the communities who need it most !
