The story of GovRadar is a journey born from firsthand experience with the complexities of public sector procurement. Co-founder Sascha Soyk, having navigated the intricate and often frustrating world of government purchasing from within an innovation unit of a federal ministry, felt the pain points directly. He saw how cumbersome regulations, lengthy processes, and a lack of modern tools were hindering the modernization of Germany's public administration. This experience was complemented by his time at the American software company Palantir, where he gained insight into the provider's side of the market. This dual perspective laid the groundwork for a revolutionary idea: a platform to bridge the gap between innovative tech companies and public authorities, making procurement faster, simpler, and more transparent.

In 2020, Sascha Soyk joined forces with Daniel Faber, a passionate technologist with a rich background that includes work at CERN and as head of software and electronics development at a leading nanotechnology company. Together, they founded GovRadar in Munich with a bold mission: to make Europe more capable of action. They envisioned a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that would empower public servants, freeing them from the shackles of outdated, manual processes. What started as a concept to automate small-scale procurement has since evolved into a comprehensive, AI-powered solution. GovRadar's platform now assists with the entire procurement lifecycle, from product-neutral market research to the automated, legally compliant generation of tender documents. The company's growth, underscored by successful funding rounds and the trust of numerous public institutions, is a testament to the pressing need for such innovation. Today, GovRadar stands as a key player in the GovTech space, driving the digital transformation of public administration not just in Germany, but with a vision for all of Europe.
