Retirement Plan
All employees who work at least 1000 hours per year may participate in a tax-deferred retirement plan. All contributions are immediately vested.
Vision Insurance
The College offers a voluntary vision plan that features coverage for routine care and prescription eyewear through a network of participating vision care providers.
Moving Allowance
Gordon provides a moving allowance to pay for the first 6,000 pounds of a new employee's of household goods (additional poundage is allowed for spouse and dependent children). Packing costs are not included.
Tuition Benefits
Employees, spouses, and dependent children may take undergraduate courses on campus tuition-free. Graduate courses are also available at a reduced tuition rate. The College participates in tuition exchange programs.
Medical Insurance
Comprehensive medical insurance for employees and families is provided. Three medical plans are offered – a high deductible health plan, a health maintenance organization (HMO), and a preferred provider organization (PPO).
Paid Time Off
Depending on years of service and position grade, staff employees are eligible for 10 to 25 days of vacation each year. In addition, employees may use up to 10 days of sick leave, and 3 personal days each year. The College observes at least 12 paid holidays a year.
