React Developer

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

• Develop new, user-facing features using React.js.
• Optimize UI performance and load times for a seamless user experience.
• Modernize and enhance existing UIs to meet current standards and customer needs.
• Write robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate within a global Scrum team, contributing to agile development cycles.
• Build and maintain micro-frontend components using Webpack Module Federation.

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering roles, building large-scale distributed applications or solutions.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing methodologies and tools.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility (a11y) principles to ensure inclusive UIs.

• Experience with version control systems; Git preferred.
• Bonus points for experience with AWS and Next.js.
• Experience deploying and testing code using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proven experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
