GOAL Global is an international humanitarian response agency established in Ireland in 1977 by journalist John O'Shea and his friends, who were inspired to help street children in Kolkata after witnessing their plight. Over the subsequent decades, GOAL has responded to numerous humanitarian crises, working in over 60 countries around the world. The organization primarily focuses on assisting vulnerable communities facing extreme poverty, disaster, and conflict, empowering them to regain control over their lives. GOAL's mission encompasses emergency response initiatives, nutrition, health, food security, and advocating for social inclusivity.
