Data Scientist - MX

• Experience with Python or R.
• Experience with Spark/ Kafka
• Experience with Data pipes, Data lakes
• Understand, guide and define the actionable output from a predictive model, derive insights and support decision making.
• Ability to describe business problems in mathematical terms and validate or reject hypotheses through statistical inference and modeling.
• Analyze data sources for completeness of data semantics and gaps. Develop the process to assess information quality and ready the data to be fed into a mathematical model.
• Thorough understanding of supervised and non-supervised models, regression and classification problems, regularization, ensemble learning methods.
• Ability to select appropriate quality metrics for model evaluation, calibrate/train predictive models to match the specified metrics. Analyze, interpret and extract actionable outputs from the models.
• Build required analytical workflow for modelling.
• Circle back to a refined problem definition to keep improving performance and actionability related to business strategy and capabilities.
• Practical experience with machine learning as a service and Cloud platforms is a plus!
• Experience with deep learning algorithms in applications such as computer vision and natural language processing is a plus!
• Experience with big data architectures is a plus!
