Position Overview:
As Engineer- Platforms at GigXR, you will be contributing to development of the platform that supports our suite of healthcare and educational training applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain platform solutions using .NET and related technologies.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration with various internal and third-party systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions, including front-end, back-end, and database components.
Ensure data integrity and performance optimization across multiple databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL).
Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 5/6/7).
Strong knowledge of API design, development, and integration (RESTful services, GraphQL is a plus).
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control (e.g., Git).
Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
