Rundoo's story began in 2021, when co-founders Nick Hershey and Andrew Beckman set out to solve a critical problem for independent businesses. Working initially from an apartment, they recognized that while the world was rapidly digitizing, independent paint and hardware stores were often left behind, relying on outdated, patchwork systems that couldn't keep up with modern demands. They envisioned a unified platform that would empower these essential community businesses with the same caliber of technology used by major retailers.

What started as a two-person operation has since evolved into a robust team of over thirty dedicated professionals. By December 2022, Rundoo celebrated its first live client, King's Paint & Paper, marking a pivotal moment in its journey. Today, the company serves hundreds of stores across the United States, providing an all-in-one software solution that handles everything from point-of-sale and inventory management to payments and accounting. With a mission to help independent supply stores win customers, streamline operations, and grow, Rundoo continues to innovate, proving that even the most traditional industries can thrive with the right digital tools.
