Background
This is a consultative, relationship-first sales role — not a high-pressure pitch environment.
If you have built a career on listening first and pitching second, this role was designed for you.
What You'll Get
- 50+ qualified inbound leads per month — prospects already looking for what we offer
- $4,500/month OTE in USD for consultants at 100% quota — no ceiling above that
- A team that values relationship quality as much as close rate
- Career growth: Sales Consultant → Senior Consultant → Practice Lead
- Backed by Y Combinator and Sequoia — the most respected names in venture
- Remote flexibility — work from anywhere with US-hours overlap and stable internet
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 15+ consultative discovery sessions per week with U.S. executive-level buyers
- Develop a deep understanding of each prospect's staffing and delegation challenges
- Match the right Magic product to each client's specific situation — precision matters here
- Manage a complex inbound pipeline with CRM discipline across multiple deal stages
- Partner with Onboarding and Ops to ensure clients achieve early success
- Contribute insights from the field back to the team and playbook
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, professional services, consulting, or outsourcing
- Experience selling complex or multi-stakeholder solutions to C-level or VP buyers
- Strong discovery skills — you ask better questions than most consultants
- Consistent quota attainment in a closing role — not SDR/BDR
- English at C1 or C2 — professional, precise, and natural in spoken and written form
- You diagnose before you prescribe — pain is found, not assumed
- You build trust before urgency — and urgency follows naturally
- You treat each deal as the beginning of a long-term relationship, not a transaction
- You maintain pipeline hygiene as a matter of professional pride
- Stage 1 - Prescreening questions that take under 3 minutes. Shortlisted candidates are sent a video assessment via Typeform — 3 prompts, 60–90 seconds each. No live call required at this stage.
- Stage 2 - HR validates your background.
- Stage 3 - Sales Leadership runs a mock discovery scenario and 2 rounds of interviews to see you in action.
- Stage 4 - Decision and offer within 48 hours of this stage.
This Role Is NOT For You If:
- You wait for a manager to set your daily priorities
- You treat 'not now' as a dead end rather than a future deal to nurture
- You blame leads, tools, or the process when results fall short
- You see CRM hygiene as optional admin work
