Remote: This is a remote opportunity, though we’d love to connect with candidates located within the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) who can occasionally join us for team meetups, workshops, and quarterly collaboration events. Candidates from these areas will be given preference.

Position Overview
Gervino Group is growing and looking to add motivated, relationship-driven Candidate Engagement Partners (CEPs) to our expanding recruiting team. This is a remote 1099 contractor opportunity ideal for experienced recruiters, sourcers, or recruiting professionals who enjoy identifying talent, building relationships, conducting candidate interviews, and keeping recruiting processes moving forward.

Our recruiters focus primarily on sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, and pipeline management, which allows our internal team to manage client relationships, submissions, offer negotiation, and business development. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, organized, communicative, and genuinely enjoy connecting people with career opportunities.

What Success Looks Like & What You Will Own…
  • Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, job boards, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening interviews
  • Evaluate candidate experience, communication style, motivations, and overall alignment with client opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing communication with active candidates throughout the interview process
  • Follow up with active candidates a minimum of twice weekly to ensure engagement, movement, and updated status tracking
  • Provide detailed candidate notes, feedback, and qualification summaries to the internal team
  • Help maintain recruiting flow, pipeline organization, and overall process momentum
  • Partner closely with leadership regarding role priorities, sourcing strategy, and candidate feedback
  • Support recruiting efforts across multiple industries and role types nationwide

You Might Be A Great Fit If…
  • Previous recruiting, sourcing, staffing, or talent acquisition experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable conducting phone and virtual interviews
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple openings simultaneously
  • Organized, responsive, and proactive with follow-through
  • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven work ethic
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, or sourcing tools is preferred

How Compensation Works…
This is a commission-based 1099 contractor opportunity with performance-based earning potential. Commission is based on successful candidate placements and collected client fees and typically ranges from 30 to 90 days from the start date. Our structure is designed to reward consistency, momentum, and long-term success while allowing CEPs flexibility and autonomy in how they work. We also offer higher percentages based on roles filled per month.

How We Work Together…
As an independent contractor, recruiters are expected to work from their own equipment and sourcing resources, including computers, phones, internet access, and preferred recruiting tools or subscriptions. To create strong ownership and maintain an organized recruiting process, recruiters are assigned specific roles within the ATS.
