Genetec is a global technology company that has been transforming the physical security industry for over 25 years. Today, the company develops solutions designed to improve security, intelligence, and operations for enterprises, governments, and the communities in which we live.   

You will be responsible for delivering demonstrations on Genetec products, you will also work with the Genetec sales team in a pre-sales role to develop and position solutions involving Genetec’s products. Presentations and conference call discussions are a critical part of this position, as well as the qualifying process to confirm that Genetec’s products meet the prospect’s requirements and assist sales in technical qualification. 

What your day will look like:

  • Provide product demonstrations for potential customers, consultants and channel partners 
  • Leverage our products to design custom solutions 
  • Assist the sales process by providing technical knowledge and architecture assessments 
  • Champion our products internally within the sales organization 
  • Provide feedback from the field to help improve our processes 
  • Deploy and manage proofs of concept for enterprise customers 
  • Availability to travel up to 50% 

More about you:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 years + technical enterprise pre-sales experience, previous experience in Technical Support or Field Services 
  • Possess exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
  • Verbal and written communication in English, Spanish

Great if you have:

  • Additional language skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP configuration
  • Experience with database concepts and client-server environments
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting methods
  • Experience with physical access control systems
  • Experience with video management systems
  • Experience with cloud-based technology and cybersecurity concepts

Serás responsable de realizar demostraciones de los productos de Genetec y también trabajarás con el equipo de ventas de Genetec en una función de preventa para desarrollar y posicionar soluciones que involucren los productos de Genetec. Las presentaciones y las discusiones en conferencias telefónicas son una parte fundamental de este puesto, así como el proceso de calificación para confirmar que los productos de Genetec cumplen con los requisitos del cliente potencial y ayudar a las ventas en la calificación técnica. 

Cómo será tu día a día:

  • Realizar demostraciones de productos para clientes potenciales, consultores y socios de canal
  • Aprovechar nuestros productos para diseñar soluciones personalizadas
  • Ayudar en el proceso de ventas proporcionando conocimientos técnicos y evaluaciones de arquitectura
  • Promocionar nuestros productos internamente dentro de la organización de ventas
  • Proporcionar comentarios desde el terreno para ayudar a mejorar nuestros procesos
  • Implementar y gestionar pruebas de concepto para clientes empresariales
  • Disponibilidad para viajar hasta un 50 %

Un poco más sobre ti:

  • Licenciatura en informática, ingeniería informática o experiencia equivalente
  • Más de dos años de experiencia en preventa técnica empresarial, experiencia previa en soporte técnico o servicios de campo
  • Excelentes habilidades de presentación y facilitació
  • Comunicación verbal y escrita en inglés y español

Genial si tienes:

  • Habilidades lingüísticas adicionales
  • Excelentes conocimientos de los sistemas operativos Windows
  • Excelentes conocimientos de los principios de redes y configuración IP
  • Experiencia con conceptos de bases de datos y entornos cliente-servidor
  • Experiencia con métodos técnicos de resolución de problemas
  • Experiencia con sistemas de control de acceso físico
  • Experiencia con sistemas de gestión de vídeo
  • Experiencia con tecnología basada en la nube y conceptos de ciberseguridad
