Spanish Language Teacher and Materials Writer (Promova)

One of our applications is Promova - a language learning platform that consists of a mobile app, a website, group courses and one-on-one lessons with tutors, as well as media and social media. The app has been downloaded over 12 million times and users have completed 35 million lessons with us.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Spanish Language Teacher and Materials Writer to join Promova. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality lesson plans for our online self-learning, which will help learners of all levels improve their language skills. The candidate will also translate other courses into Spanish. The teacher will be expected to have a strong knowledge of the target language, teaching methodologies, and approaches, as well as the ability to design effective and engaging lessons that are appropriate for learners of different levels, and to do quality translation from English to Spanish.

You are our perfect candidate if you have:

• Degree or certification in Spanish Language Teaching or Spanish Linguistics;
• 2+ years of experience teaching Spanish;
• Good translation skills;
• Some experience as a materials creator / senior teacher would be a big advantage;
• Knowledge of lexical approach and guided discovery would be a big advantage;
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and a high level of self-organization;
• Fluency in English.
