Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Higher Command (HICOM) Support Team Lead for the US Army National Guard Mission Command Training Support Program. We are seeking an HST Lead to support the MCTSP.
This position is a remote working opportunity.
This position leads the HICOM, typically in the form of a Division, Corps, or Joint Force Headquarters. You will teach, coach, mentor and train Division and Brigade Commanders and Staff counterparts across all WFF, to include Command, Control, and Communications Technology, the philosophy of MISSION Command and the art and science of Command and Control (C2).
Our work depends on you to ensure exercise support requirements are identified, synchronized, resourced, and rehearsed to meet Training Unit Commander (TUC) Training Objectives (TO); joining our team which already supports 16 Active Duty US Army MTCs.
How will make an impact:
- Provide direct support to ARNG collective training events and exercises
- Serve as either the Deputy Commander or Commander of the Joint Force, Corps, or Division higher command
- Responsible for deliverables and products to include the publication of Division and above operation orders
Basic Qualifications:
- MA/MS or higher
- Brigade Level Command (Division or higher echelon command preferred)
- 20 years Army experience
- Senior Army leadership experience, extensive training management backgrounds and Combat Training Center experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with exercise planning using the JELC process
- Experienced in large-scale live and constructive exercises, a doctrinal expert within their respective WFF, and familiar with the employment and operation of Army MCIS
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with MCTSP or a similar training program is preferred:
- Employment and operation of Army MCIS within respective Warfighting Function
- Top Secret/SCI
