MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Configuration Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Medicaid. You will play a crucial role in upgrading, operating and maintaining Medicaid information and claims processing systems.

• ServeasthepointofcontactforConfiguration Management activities during design, development, integration, and operations
• Defineconfigurationmanagementprocessand procedures
• Manage version control of the solution, documentation,andotherproject artifacts based on system changes
• Maintainaninventoryofallsystems artifacts
• Manage configurationidentification to establishrelationshipbetweensoftware, hardware, and documents
• Responsible for conducting regular audits, reporting findings to the customer, in order to ensure solution components are properly configuredandadheretoestablishedstandards and guidelines
• Ensure approval of systems versionspriortoreleaseofsystemsfunctionality, socorrectversionsaredeployedandassociated documentation is accurate and up to date
• Responsibleforensuringdocumentationis accurate, current and accessible to team members, stakeholders and agency staff
• Manage the configuration project team membersforonboarding,training,andtask assignments
• Provideregularupdatesonconfiguration management efforts
• Completeandsubmitperformanceandstatus reports

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your Medicaid and health IT systems expertise, along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Configuration Manager must have 5 years of experience including:

• Bachelor’sdegreeincomputerscience,information systems or similar field; or equivalent work experience
• Four (4) years of experience in configuration managementofMedicaidorMajorHealthCare Payer projects
• Three(3)yearsofexperienceusingconfiguration management tools and software
• 3+ years of experience with modifying and maintainingconfigurationofMedicaidorMedicare systems relevant to the proposed solution
• Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture(MITA)3.0,andtheCMSConditions for Enhanced Funding
• WorkingknowledgeofITbestpractices,policies andregulations,softwaredevelopmentlifecycle, and ITIL Service Configuration Management methodology. ITIL Certification preferred

Work Arrangements: Remote. Travel 20-50%
