In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. Employees outside of these areas are considered part of our remote-first workforce. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.

The People Team at Gemini is more than HR — we are thought partners, business influencers, and ambassadors for our company culture. Our tight-knit team consists of recruiters and human resources specialists.

The Role:Associate Director, People Solutions

We are searching for an Associate Director, People Solutions to take on an important role on our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with advanced experience in recruiting and people operations to help us enhance, launch, and manage a wide range of projects that will help us effectively scale our internal teams, and also help crucially push forward Gemini’s existing efforts to build a diverse, inclusive, and equitable community.

Responsibilities:

  • Build structure around our long-term hiring and talent brand initiatives.
  • Fine-tune our current processes by: (i) exploring and implementing improvements to our internal recruiting workflows, and (ii) establishing best uses for and identifying helpful shortcuts in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse).
  • Use reporting to bring more visibility to our recruiting efforts, identify clear areas for improvement, and highlight progress against long-term recruiting goals.
  • Manage a Global Operations team to ensure strong internal processes and documentation are created.
  • Collaborate with specialist functions (e.g. Data, Software Engineering) to increase efficiencies to Recruiting processes.
  • Institute best practices and general HR administration while keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and industry trends within the HR space.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years Recruiting Operations and Global Operations experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Greenhouse ATS, specifically performing configurations and creating processes to most effectively use the platform.
  • Experience managing a global operations team.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday and Greenhouse to ensure accurate data integrity and efficient process flows.
  • Advanced Google Sheets Proficiency.
  • Strict attention to detail and organization; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of recognizing, troubleshooting, and solving process-related issues in the Recruiting and Operations space.
  • Experience building recruiting-related programs and initiatives such as referrals programs, internships programs, and employer branding.
  • An obsession with bringing efficiency, quality, and scalability to all recruiting and operations initiatives.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $158,000 - $198,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
