Summary
The Accountant provides overall general accounting support. Actively involved in various month-end financial close process, including journal entries and account activity reviews. Performs and reviews General Ledger account reconciliations and analysis. Understand and review balance sheets and P&L statements.
Your role in our mission
- Maintains the company's general ledger accounts, including posting and preparing, opening, adjusting, and closing journal entries.
- Performs reconciliations between the general ledger and financial statements.
- Provides ad hoc analytical, reporting, SOX and audit support.
- Provides payroll support and researches any payroll related items
What we're looking for
- BA or BS in accounting or finance and/or equivalent experience required
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required
- 2+ years corporate accounting experience to include general ledger, fixed assets, accruals and reconciliations
- Knowledge of GAAP and FASB and related accounting/audit rules
- SOX controls experience preferred
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.0 and SAP S4 HANA preferred
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel

The pay range for this position is $49,200.00 - $70,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
