About Fullscript

We’re an industry-leading health technology company on a mission to help people get better. We started in 2011 with one simple idea. Make it easier for practitioners to access the products they trust so they can deliver better care.
That simple idea grew into a platform that powers every part of care. Today, more than 125,000 practitioners use Fullscript for clinical insights, lab interpretations, patient analytics, education, and access to high-quality supplements. Over 10 million patients rely on Fullscript to stay connected to their care plans and follow through on treatment.
We build tools that make care smarter and more human. Tools that save time, simplify decisions, and help practitioners stay closely connected to the people they care for. When everything they need is in one place, they can focus on what matters most: helping people get better.

This is your invitation.

Bring your ideas, your grit, and your care for people.
Join us and shape the future of care.
Fullscript’s Platform Engineering group is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Developer with a strong interest in DevOps to join the team. This group builds and maintains the systems that keep our platform running, including the pipelines that ship code, the infrastructure that powers our applications, the tooling that helps engineers move quickly and safely, and more! You’ll work with a small, high-impact team that handles everything from Kubernetes and Terraform to observability, automation, and AWS infrastructure. It’s a collaborative, async-friendly environment where people take ownership, stay curious, and look for ways to make the system better every day.
If you love digging into how things work, enjoy automating the repetitive parts of engineering, and want to grow into a stronger DevOps or Platform Engineer, this is the kind of team that will give you room to learn quickly and make a meaningful impact early on.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain the tooling developers rely on (from local environments to CI/CD pipelines).
  • Support our AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform-based infrastructure, helping the team scale systems reliably and securely.
  • Automate workflows across the platform using scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Go, or Bash.
  • Work closely with other engineers to improve deployment speed, reliability, and consistency across environments.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, observability improvements, and developer experience initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and small project ownership as you grow into the role.
  • Collaborate asynchronously and operate with autonomy, while staying aligned with the team through regular check-ins.

What you bring to the table:

  • A genuine interest in DevOps, infrastructure, systems engineering, or automation.
  • Some hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or container-based development.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Ability to write and maintain scripts in languages like Python, Ruby, Go, or Bash.
  • A growth mindset; you like learning new technologies and understanding how systems fit together.
  • Comfort working independently and communicating clearly in a mostly async environment.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar pipeline tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • AWS or cloud certifications.
  • Exposure to security, DevSecOps practices, or compliance-related work.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Previous internship or early-career experience in a software or DevOps environment.
  • Familiarity with Helm, Kubernetes operators, or other modern platform tooling.

What we can offer you:

  • Flexible PTO & competitive pay
  • RRSP match (CAD) & stock options
  • Customizable benefits — flexible coverage, paramedical services, and an HSA.
  • Flexible benefits package and additional perks
  • Employee discount on Fullscript catalog of products for family & friends
  • Continuous learning — training budget + company-wide initiatives.
  • Wherever You Work Well — hybrid and remote flexibility.

Fullscript's journey began in 2011, born from a desire to simplify and improve how healthcare practitioners provide, and patients receive, nutritional supplements. Dr. Alanna Dyment, a naturopathic doctor, found herself wrestling with the complexities and costs of managing a physical supplement dispensary in her own clinic. She envisioned a more streamlined approach, one that would allow her to dedicate more time to patient care rather than inventory management. This vision was shared with her husband, Brad Dyment, and his partner, Kyle Braatz. Recognizing the potential to revolutionize this aspect of healthcare, they teamed up with Chris Wise, and Fullscript was officially launched.

The company started as an online platform for dispensing professional-grade nutraceuticals and supplements, allowing practitioners to prescribe and manage supplements for their patients digitally. This innovative approach quickly gained traction. A significant milestone in Fullscript's evolution was the 2018 merger with Natural Partners, an Arizona-based company with a strong background in supplement supply chain and merchandising since 1995. This merger, creating Natural Partners Fullscript (NPFS), combined Fullscript's software engineering prowess with Natural Partners' extensive distribution network and product catalog. The goal was to create a more efficient, effective, and innovative solution for the integrative healthcare market. Later, the company rebranded to simply Fullscript. Over the years, Fullscript continued to expand its offerings and reach. The platform evolved to include features like personalized treatment planning, wellness protocols, data insights, and patient adherence tools. Fullscript also focused on strategic acquisitions, such as Emerson Ecologics in 2022 and Rupa Health in 2024, further solidifying its market position and expanding its capabilities to include lab ordering and management. These moves have propelled Fullscript to become a leading healthcare platform, supporting over 100,000 practitioners and 10 million patients across North America, with a mission to power whole-person care.
