Welcome to Frontline Managed Services® – where innovation, technology, and efficiency converge to redefine the landscape of IT, Financial, and Administrative Managed Services for legal and professional service firms. As pioneers in the industry, we are driven by a relentless commitment to excellence.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a pivotal role in advancing early-stage leads into meaningful, qualified sales opportunities. This role goes beyond basic appointment setting—focusing on deeper prospect engagement, thoughtful discovery coordination, and tailored messaging aligned to real client challenges.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in managed services, technology sales, or complex B2B environments who is eager to grow. Over time, high performers will be expected to take on increased ownership across the sales lifecycle, with a clear path toward full lead-to-close responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct strategic research to identify, qualify, and prioritize high-potential business opportunities in target markets.
- Execute outbound prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage leads, build relationships, and drive interest in Frontline’s services.
- Coordinate and facilitate discovery meetings between qualified prospects and senior sales staff.
- Create and refine outreach messaging aligned with client pain points, industry challenges, and Frontline’s value proposition.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitch decks, and other sales collateral in partnership with the marketing and sales teams.
- Attend virtual and in-person industry events and networking functions to represent Frontline and uncover new leads.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate CRM records and pipeline activity to support data-driven forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing to analyze lead engagement trends and optimize prospecting strategies and campaigns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of lead qualification criteria, sales processes, and go-to-market strategies.
What You Bring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to client needs and articulate solution value clearly.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and persistent with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on opportunities.
- Strategic and customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify business challenges and align outreach accordingly.
- Comfortable initiating outbound engagement through phone, email, and LinkedIn, with prior success in B2B sales development or lead qualification.
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and modern sales outreach platforms.
- Experience supporting or coordinating proposal development, pitch decks, or sales collateral.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales leadership, and client experience teams.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, networking events, or client-facing meetings.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- 2–4 years of business development or inside sales experience
- Industry knowledge in legal or managed services preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in technology services, MSPs, SaaS, or complex B2B sales environments is strongly preferred.
Compensation Range $60,000-$70,000
Growth Opportunity
This role is designed for individuals who want more than a traditional BDR track. As you demonstrate success, you will be given opportunities to expand your scope, deepen client engagement, and progress toward owning opportunities from initial outreach through close.
Not Sure You Meet Every Requirement?
We know that great candidates may not match every qualification listed. If you’re excited about the role and believe you could be a strong fit, we encourage you to apply. We value potential and a growth mindset as much as experience.
