Freeman Health System, based in Joplin, Missouri, is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare organization that has been committed to serving the communities of Southeast Kansas for many years. As the largest healthcare provider in the area, Freeman operates two main hospitals—Freeman Hospital West and Freeman Hospital East—as well as Freeman Neosho Hospital and the Ozark Center, which is the largest provider of behavioral health services in the region.
