The Technical Sales Manager - Modular will report to the Head of Sales, North America. This role will assist with the Modular Sales Process, working in close collaboration with the sales team to ensure the solutions we offer complies with specifications and drawings provided. This position will help drive the Modular solution forward with standardization of the products and ensure we retain the best-in-class solution in the marketplace.
What a typical day looks like:
Provide technical support to Modular sales team and clients throughout the enquiry process.
Positive engagement in the developing company’s products and to facilitate the sales execution.
Assist design departments with product compliance to the relevant UL / NEMA standards.
Recognise system deficiencies and risks and implement effective technical solutions.
Be able to engage with clients/consultants to ensure we are in control of the design process.
To assist with strategic development of the technology and design of modular solutions.
Driving standardization of our modular solutions to increase cost efficiencies in the marketplace.
To review and approve our supply chain equipment drawings / specifications including assisting with the design / development of RFP submittals.
To help provide technical direction in product design to drive innovation of the Anord Mardix Modular solutions.
Proactive risk identification and recognize system deficiencies and implement effective technical solutions.
Minimizing exposure and risk throughout the sales process by assisting the sales team completing CDEs and other required technical documentation.
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain to ensure that the correct costs are being applied to all quotations and engage with suppliers to ensure we are securing the best possible outcome on pricing for our business.
To assist with the coordination of the Modular solution during the handover process to operations.
Working closely with the BIM team to ensure correct coordination of the equipment within the Modular housing.
Working closely with the Modular Integration Manager to ensure we maintain maximum efficiency during the build process and make changes to the Modular solutions where needed.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
5+ years of experience as a Technical Manager or equivalent role.
Experience in a similar position, must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
Preferably an engineer, with proven knowledge and experience in Modular Solutions.
Superior organizational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, staff management plus development and operational skills.
Data Center experience is desirable.
