About the Role:

We are looking for a Shopify Theme Consultant with a proven track record of designing and submitting high-quality themes to the Shopify Theme Store. This role requires a blend of creative design thinking, deep technical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of Shopify’s Theme Store requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom Shopify themes aligned with Shopify's Theme Store standards.
  

• Lead the theme submission process from initial concept through to successful approval.
  

• Ensure all themes meet stringent requirements related to originality, accessibility, responsiveness, and component-level consistency.
  

• Optimize themes for performance, speed, and SEO.
  

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to iterate on theme features and UX.
  

• Stay updated with Shopify’s evolving platform capabilities and review guidelines.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least one theme successfully submitted and approved on the Shopify Theme Store.
  

• Deep understanding of Shopify’s Theme Store design and technical guidelines.
  

• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and JSON.
  

• Strong knowledge of theme architecture, section-based design, and modular components.
  

• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques for Shopify themes.
  

• Excellent attention to detail, especially in design-to-code translation and responsive behavior.
  

• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Shopify's Online Store 2.0 features.
  

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  

• UI/UX design background or experience collaborating closely with design teams.
  

• Contributions to open-source Shopify projects or theme frameworks.
