We are currently searching for an exceptional Project Industrial Engineer II to join our team. The Project Industrial Engineer II is responsible for building a robust project capability within operations by developing, implementing and maintaining an infrastructure of business processes, procedures, supporting tools, training and enabling systems. They will partner with the Operations Leadership Team to establish dashboards and metrics as well as to provide governance to various capital engineering and product development projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement and maintain an infrastructure of processes, procedures, supporting tools and systems using industry best practices and guidance
  • Create and deliver training on Project Management standard work for leadership or other key stakeholders
  • Provide an oversight for the key projects to ensure successful completion or early escalation of potential risks
  • Develop, implement and maintain dashboards, metrics and other operating mechanisms to confirm projects’ progress and portfolio status
  • Responsible for ongoing monitoring, reporting, and control of various projects across the organization in accordance with the set objectives
  • Develop and own repository of Project Management knowledge, best practices, lessons learned, and resources
  • Facilitate regular meetings to ensure appropriate project prioritization and resourcing
  • Utilize data to make fact based decisions; challenge during project plan reviews
  • Align the delivery and execution of projects/programs through a balance of best-in-class and pragmatic project methodologies and practices that achieve KPIs and meet or exceed business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stake holders to ensure alignment on project scope, design control documentation, quality and schedule
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture/mindset with respect to project delivery and leadership demonstrated through the utilization of useful project performance metrics and defined performance improvement plans
  • Assign appropriate resources to programs in a matrix structure for specific projects based on organization prioritization and challenges
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management tools, techniques, culture, software applications, such as Microsoft Project
  • Experience in leading and managing by influence people in multi-disciplinary teams and in partnering with stakeholders for building alignment and for driving a change
  • Strong people, leadership, communication skills to influence people across various organizational levels, cultural diversity and/ or geographically dispersed
  • Ability to effectively handle conflict through proactive action and direct and timely communication
  • Ability to lead with organizational expertise, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Quality Management techniques
  • Strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities and computer skills tools/solution
  • Strong Financial acumen – Ability to pull together financial justifications

If this is a remote position, the pay scale disclosed herein may be adjusted further based upon the applicable geographic differential associated with the location from which the successful candidate will work. Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $74,640 to $97,850 per year.
