About Fable

Global enterprises work with Fable to make products more accessible for over one billion people who live with disabilities. Our customers include global leaders like Walmart, Slack, and Shopify. Fable was featured on the Forbes Accessibility 100 list in 2025, awarded Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in Design, and has received accolades from global entities like the World Summit Awards and the UN-endorsed Zero Project.

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at Fable, you will lead a key product area within one of our cross-functional pods, helping shape accessible and inclusive digital experiences, grounded in real user insight from people with disabilities.

At Fable, we believe accessibility is not just about compliance—it’s about building products that work in the real world for people with diverse abilities. Our approach combines research-led practices with direct input from our community of people with disabilities, enabling organizations to create more inclusive digital experiences with confidence. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in translating these insights into products that are both accessible and genuinely usable.

As AI continues to shape how digital products are built and experienced, you will explore opportunities to thoughtfully incorporate AI into Fable’s platform—enhancing accessibility, improving user workflows, and ensuring solutions remain inclusive, transparent, and grounded in real user needs.

You will work within a pod structure alongside Engineering, Design, and other partners, while collaborating across adjacent product areas—including platform and user-facing experiences—to deliver cohesive, end-to-end value for our customers across both enterprise and community offerings.

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will own strategy and execution within your product area, ensuring alignment with broader product direction while driving meaningful outcomes for users and the business.

You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, connecting long-term direction to near-term delivery, and making thoughtful trade-offs. You bring strong product judgment, a deep sense of user empathy, and a collaborative approach that helps teams do their best work and grow together.

For this role, we are open to applicants located in Canada, working within North American time zones (Eastern Time preferred). If you believe you match most of this description, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a defined area within a pod, aligned with direction set by your Group Product Manager
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality, accessible product experiences
  • Collaborate across pods to ensure a cohesive experience across platform capabilities and user-facing products
  • Contribute to initiatives that span both enterprise and community offerings, helping balance the needs of different customer segments
  • Develop a deep understanding of users—including people with disabilities—and advocate for their needs in product decisions
  • Define and track success metrics; use data and insights to inform prioritization and iteration
  • Navigate dependencies across teams, proactively identifying risks and driving alignment with support from your Group Product Manager
  • Support product discovery by framing problems, validating opportunities, and testing solutions
  • Work with go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, CX) to support launches, adoption, and ongoing product success
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve product experiences, accessibility outcomes, and internal workflows
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to ensure AI-driven features are reliable, ethical, and aligned with user needs—especially for people with disabilities
  • Communicate plans, progress, and trade-offs clearly within your pod and to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Foster a strong, inclusive team environment by encouraging collaboration, supporting teammates, and helping unblock challenges
  • Share context, best practices, and product thinking to help elevate the quality of work across the team
  • Provide informal mentorship and guidance to peers and more junior team members when needed
  • Contribute to improving ways of working within your pod and across the product organization

At the heart of Fable Security is a mission to reimagine human risk management for the modern enterprise. Founded in 2024 by Nicole Jiang and Dr. Sanny Liao, former leaders at Abnormal Security, Fable was born from the realization that traditional security training was failing to keep pace with AI-driven threats. Instead of relying on passive awareness, Fable combines advanced artificial intelligence with behavioral science to create a culture of active defense. The company's ethos is built on 'high trust and low ego,' fostering an environment where autonomy, speed, and mentorship are paramount. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work, solving complex problems with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes for customers.

Fable's culture emphasizes deep focus and high output, giving employees the space to structure their days in ways that maximize their productivity and creativity. This 'people-first' approach extends to their product, which treats employees not as liabilities but as the most critical layer of defense. By synthesizing thousands of signals from identity, access, and behavior, Fable's platform delivers personalized, real-time interventions that nudge users toward safer decisions. The team is driven by a shared commitment to eliminating the human attack surface, leveraging their diverse backgrounds in cybersecurity, adtech, and engineering to build a platform that is both elegant and enterprise-grade. At Fable, the goal is not just to check a compliance box, but to fundamentally reshape how organizations understand and mitigate risk in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
