Middle DevOps Engineer

We are currently looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our client, working in the Production Engineering domain and building multi-cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Cloudflare.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain payment infrastructure on AWS.
• Write code to automate manual work.
• Define the architecture for cloud-based services.
• Consult Vinted engineers on cloud technologies and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them.
• Monitor and debug problems in production to meet established SLO's.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the team every few weeks (depending on the team size).

Requirements:

• Experienced in at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experienced in Linux and have solid networking fundamentals.
• Experienced in containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable with standard software development components such as code version control systems (Git), automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Previous working experience at scale and a good track record of delivering complex technical solutions.
• Have hands-on experience in software development or/and infrastructure automation.
• Good written and spoken technical communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
