Director, National Field Underwriting

As a Director, National Field Underwriting, you will bridge underwriting, distribution, and client engagement to deliver advanced medical and financial underwriting support directly in the field. You will act as a trusted advisor to partners, wholesalers, and clients, providing pre-sale underwriting guidance and supporting sophisticated client strategies.

Requirements

• 15+ years Underwriting experience
• Exceptional background and understanding of UHNW client, advisor, professional advice framework
• Expert knowledge/experience in all aspects of risk assessment: medical, non-medical, foreign travel, financial underwriting principals
• Expert knowledge of retention management
• Expert knowledge of the reinsurance marketplace
• Meets field expectations for competitive underwriting decisions
• Drives outcomes through a client-first mindset
• In the process of obtaining or holding FALU, FLMI, and ACS certifications.
