About the role
We are seeking a skilled and organised data support assistant to join our team. As a Data Support Assistant 📊, you will play a vital role, collaborate with different teams to collect, input, and process data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of processes and data management.
- Collect, process and input data accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct web-based research and provide data insights to stakeholders.
- Research and analysis of the local planning landscape application to aid assessment of the BNG sector
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Assist in data cleanup initiatives and perform data cleansing activities.
- Generate reports and visualisations to communicate trends and patterns in data.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of data management processes and systems.
- Seek opportunities to enhance the data being collected through iterative process improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Passion for biodiversity restoration and EB's wider objectives.
- Experience working with data, preferably in a data support or similar role
- Knowledge of Local Planning Authority planning portals or planning applications would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in data entry and data management tools/software
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
