Job Description
Enterprise Horizon is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Systems Administrator with experience in both Windows and Linux to join our team and support our U.S. Navy customer. Responsibilities may include:
- Provide Operating System support across a variety of Linux and Windows systems
- Create and Manage AWS resources to include EC2, FSx, EFS, EBS, AWS Backups, Amazon Event Bridge, Lambda, and Security Groups
- Configure security settings on OS to include file permissions and STIG configurations
- Assist in troubleshooting application issues
- Train other team members on automation processes or gaps in knowledge
- Develop automation across all teams for system/software installation/configurations
- Deploy, configure, and secure all Operating Systems
- Manage and automate Active Directory management and migrations
- Providing best practices and templates for IaC
- Research and provide solutions for best practices and improving processes
- Write documentation and SOPs for best practices
Work Schedule
Remote work is available. Ability to attend occasional on-site meetings in Mechanicsburg, PA to interface with the client is highly desired.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Security+ Certification
- Strong systems administration experience to include Windows and Linux
- Federal STIG experience
- Ability to collaborate closely with the NAVSUP team to resolve issues and make decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field highly desired.
- Additional technical certifications highly desired.
Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation in Mechanicsburg, PA.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass in a timely manner.
- Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
Pay Scale
$110,000 to $135,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
