Overview
We need a hands-on SharePoint developer (junior to mid-level) to support our internal Design team with real custom development – not just configuration or admin tasks.
What you'll actually do
- Build and maintain custom SPFx web parts and solutions (React + TypeScript)
- Extend and troubleshoot our PnP Modern Search implementation (refiners, display templates, query rules, custom result sources, etc.)
- Develop other custom functionality in SharePoint Online (event receivers, timers, Azure Functions integrations, custom forms/pages when needed)
- Work directly with the our client's internal Design team to turn requirements into working solutions
- Fix bugs and enhance existing custom components
Must-Have Skills (non-negotiable)
- 2–5 years of actual SharePoint development experience
- Proven experience shipping custom SPFx web parts to production
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript + React skills
- Real-world experience customizing or extending PnP Modern Search (or be able to demonstrate you can learn it very quickly)
- Comfortable with SharePoint REST API / Microsoft Graph / PnPjs
- Able to work independently and figure things out
- PnP PowerShell / CLI for Microsoft 365
- Azure Functions or Power Automate tied to SharePoint
- Experience with modern provisioning templates
This is genuinely a junior to mid-level role. If you’ve built several SPFx web parts, deployed them to real sites, and have touched PnP Modern Search (even lightly), you’re in the right range. We’re not looking for a 10+ year architect.
What We Offer
Competitive salary, flexible work arrangement, and the chance to own meaningful custom solutions instead of just clicking around in the admin center.
We’re interviewing now and want someone to start soon.
