Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Enfuce, you take end-to-end ownership of the data platform that ingests, processes, and serves reliable data across the company. You design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring the platform operates with strong reliability, observability, and security standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS preferred), especially services relevant to data ingestion, processing, orchestration, and storage.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a track record of building reliable, production-grade data pipelines and services.
• Deep experience with event streaming and event-driven architectures using technologies such as EventBridge, Firehose, Kinesis, or Kafka.
• Practical experience building, deploying, and operating containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and modern CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitLab CI).
• Ability to independently lead technical initiatives, make architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Effective communication skills for working with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring others, improving engineering practices, and contributing to a high-quality data platform and team culture.
