Rooted in a remarkable legacy that began with Suncoast Hospice in 1977 and Tidewell Hospice in 1980, we came together as Empath Health in March 2021, creating the country's largest non-profit hospice and home care-based health care organization. Our team is made up of thousands of colleagues and volunteers serving tens of thousands of individuals each day. What started as a volunteer movement has transformed into an integrated network of care. We are catalysts for transformational care during life's most vulnerable moments, specializing in anticipating the needs of others and exceeding their expectations.
