About the Role:

As Events & Webinars Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting the successful project delivery of events across our audience groups, taking responsibility for various events management and events administration tasks. This hands-on and fast-paced role will see you supporting the Central Events team, particularly in the Americas region, in helping to maintain and deliver a program of face-to-face events, virtual conferences and webinars as part of the Research Marketing (RM) online and offline event portfolio.

You will also be responsible for helping to optimize Elsevier’s presence at sponsored and co-organized third-party events and webinars. Enhancing our customer experience will be paramount, and you will need to work creatively, proactively and think outside of the box. The role will work closely with marketing, sales, digital, regional and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of events, virtual conferences and webinars globally.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Research Marketing in-person events and maximizing presence at third-party partnership events to support marketing objectives

  • Assisting in planning, creating, and managing webinars, providing support to internal stakeholders

  • Collaborating with teams on event campaign creation and execution, including web, email, and social media

  • Handling logistical arrangements for in-person events, ensuring appropriate venue arrangements, sponsorship, and audiovisual setups

  • Supporting virtual conferencing and webinars, working with third-party vendors for successful delivery

Requirements

  • Possess an education background in Marketing, Communication, or English

  • Have minimum two years proven experience in event management (B2B preferable)

  • Be capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team structure

  • Possess good communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

  • Have some experience in budget management

  • Be a creative and innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask across multiple projects

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $53,900 - $89,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.Base Pay Range for CO is $53,900 - $89,800. Base Pay Range for IL is $56,500 - $94,200. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $59,300 - $98,700. Base Pay Range for MD is $56,500 - $94,200. Base Pay Range for NY is $59,300 - $98,700. Base Pay Range for New York City is $64,700 - $107,700. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $53,900 - $89,800. Base Pay Range for OH is $51,200 - $85,300.
