United States onlyEPE is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead and support the design of the grid for a new generation of energy. The role involves performing power system studies, developing mitigation plans, and training junior engineers. The position will focus on integrating renewable energy into the power grid and advancing efficient energy management.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Power Systems Engineer and a Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.
- Proven team player skills with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Prior hands-on experience working with steady-state and dynamic base cases in the WECC region.
- Solid understanding of power system basics, transient stability, and master in of-the-shelve software tools like PSLF and TARA.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong technical/report writing skills.
