At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to play a crucial role in the successful commercial delivery of key contracts within HPC's Equipment Programme.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will take the lead in the Procurement phase, ensuring robust commercial requirements are defined, and participate in ITT evaluations and negotiations. Your influence will extend beyond contract creation as you commercially lead and manage contracts through execution, ensuring seamless contract administration, financial control, and strategic decision-making.

The role is primarily one of Contract Management and you will be at the heart of this, from defining scope and financial assessments to supplier negotiations and claim resolution. Your expertise in risk management, contract performance measurement, and compliance will be key in ensuring smooth execution and successful completion of contracts, all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial integrity.

Who you are

We are looking for proven and experienced Senior Commercial Manager, with a track record in commercial and contract management, with demonstrable experience in managing contracts of significant financial value.

You will have exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, enabling you to establish and maintain strong professional relationships. With a robust understanding of contract methodologies and performance measurement, you will bring insight and leadership to ensure commercial excellence across the contracts you are responsible for.

We'll be on the lookout for individuals with nuclear industry experience, or another highly- regulated environment.
