Your Opportunity

Leads the Calculation Process to ensure Royalites are calculated in accordance with the signed agreements, and that payments & reports are delivered to our publisher partners in a timely and accurate manner.

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)

What You'll Do

  • Calculate Royalties to be paid to the licensed publishers on a quarterly basis
  • Review, update and analyze contract details within the EBSCO Publishing Royalty System (EPRS), Minimum Guarantee information, and Contract Management System (CMS) CMS vs. EPRS comparison (%s & rules) to ensure contractual requirements are accounted for
  • Monitor contract restrictions and royalty savings initiatives: Min FTValues, product restrictions, lost rights, flat rate titles
  • Review revenue income by product. Confirm all products with Fulltext content and Earned Revenue are generating royalties (note products handled by other teams)
  • Run royalty reports and projection estimates for Managers on as needed basis
  • Generate Quarterly Missing VID list(s) to send to accounting (upload to the Vendor DB, update EPRS status)
  • Send payment notices received daily to publishers
  • Send Quarterly Batch checks and wire notifications (requires quarterly visit to the Ipswich campus)

You will be welcomed as a member of the Royalties-CL Team (of 4 people) and the larger Content Licensing Strategy & Operations organization. About You

  • 2 Years of experience in Royalty payment and processing - The process includes capturing contractual details, tracking sales & product data, calculating royalties, and making payments according to the agreed-upon schedule
  • 2 Years of MS Office experience – Email, Excel, Word, Access (including use of macros and query building)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must have SQL Server soft coding experience

Pay Range
