We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Romania. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating security practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is prioritized from the initial design stages through deployment and maintenance. You will also implement and maintain automated security testing, compliance checks, and monitoring within CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and efficient security practices.

- Security Integration: Incorporate security practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is prioritized from the initial design stages through deployment and maintenance.
- Automation: Implement and maintain automated security testing, compliance checks and monitoring within CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and efficient security practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security and integrate security best practices across the organization.
- Incident Response: Monitor, analyze and respond to security incidents promptly, implementing measures to prevent future occurrences and continuously improving response strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Python, Shell) and DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Pulumi/Terraform).
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, risk assessment techniques and familiarity with the latest security threats and trends.
- Cloud Security Skills: Experience in securing cloud environments, including knowledge of major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure (preferred), Google Cloud) and cloud-native security tools.
- Container and Microservices Security: Expertise in securing containerized environments and microservices architectures, including knowledge of container security tools and best practices for orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Advanced Degree: A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, with a focus on cybersecurity or software engineering.
